GOODBYE TO THE DALBY PARTY The flat-iron building at the junction of Metcalfe and Geddes Streets in Elora was built by Andrew Gordon in 1895. Robert Dalby opened a hotel in the south end of the block in the same year. That was over 140 years ago, and The Dalby House will soon be closing it's doors. To mark this historic event, the Village Idiots are organizing a 'Goodbye to the Dalby' party on Wednesday, February 13. First up at 8 PM are The Potion Kings, who played their first gig several years ago in the Dalby's Coal Bin. Joining the Potion Kings are special guests Harri Palm and the Solo Pilots, who go on at 9 PM. |
